Foldable phones: are they ready for everyday use?
MIXEDMixed: useful for some people, depends on how you use it.
PHONESFoldable phones turn into small tablets or fold into pocket-sized squares. They are impressive, but come with trade-offs.
Good
- Big screen for reading, video and multitasking
- Flip models are very compact in a pocket
Watch out
- Higher prices and costly screen repairs
- The crease is visible in some light
- Water and dust resistance is often lower than regular flagships
If you love new tech and use your phone like a mini tablet, a foldable can be worth it. Most people still get better value from a normal flagship.
