Gaming PC or console: which makes more sense for you?

Both are great. The right choice depends on budget, games and how much you like to tinker.

Choose a console if

• You want to plug in and play on a TV
• You play mostly big releases and with friends online
• You do not want to manage drivers and settings

Choose a PC if

• You also need a computer for work or study
• You want mods, esports titles and free-to-play games
• You like upgrading parts over time

Also count the running costs: online subscriptions on consoles, and games that are often cheaper in PC store sales.

Before deciding, list the five games you most want to play and check where they are available. That list usually makes the choice for you.
